Momentum College Position Clinics

Momentum is excited to host its 2nd summer of college-led clinics! High school players (grades 9-12) will experience what the practices & pace will look like at the collegiate level from highly successful coaches. This year, we have a phenomenal mix of DI and DII coaches leading position-specific clinics throughout the day. Check out the details below, and we'll see you on June 11th!

Metro State (Denver, CO) NCAA Div II
One of the top liberos in program history, Coach Watanabe is heading into her 10th year as a Metro State University assistant coach. Metro State entered the NCAA Div II tournament as the #1 seed in the South Central division, making a deep run in the tourney with Coach Watanabe playing an integral role in the team's year-after-year success. Come receive collegiate caliber coaching in serve receive, defense, and setting skills from Coach Watanabe!

Coach Amstutz will enter his third season at SFA after helping the team to a 23-6 overall record in 2020 with a regular season Southland Conference championship. Coach Amstutz was integral as SFA made the big leap into the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) where they upset #3 Chicago State in the Conference quarterfinals in November 2021. For this Pin hitter clinic, Coach Amstutz will be emphasizing next-level concepts as he elevates the pace of play for this integral position!

Coach Waddington, who will begin his 15th season as head coach at ASU in the Fall, has guided the Belles to ten straight NCAA South Central Regional Tournaments. They also won the AVCA DII National Championship in the shortened Spring 2021 season, finishing the season as the top-ranked team in the country. Come learn from one of the nation's best as Coach Waddington breaks down the skills for Middles and Right Sides while integrating college-paced drills throughout the session!
