ABOUT MOMENTUM PERFORMANCE

The goal of this strength program is to develop general strength and functional movement for all Momentum athletes. We will be teaching the players how to properly use the muscles needed to perform at their best, while also preventing injury. To do this, we will use bodyweight and resistance band training, while also incorporating core and flexibility work to develop the complete athlete.

There will be 4 stations that directly correlate to the important aspects of volleyball. Jumping and leg strength, hitting and shoulder strength, agility, and a core and flexibility station. Each station will consist of 10 minutes of work with little rest, and 90-second rest between the stations for a 45-minute volleyball-specific full-body workout.


COACH NICK AND COACH MOE

The training program will be put on by Nick Johnson and Monique (Moe) Nunez who have over 10 years of combined training athletes of all ages. They have also both worked with the Momentum club in the past so they have a great understanding of our club and our athletes. They will be working alongside our coaches to make this program the best it can be and get long-lasting benefits both on and off the court.
